JMU Finishes Regular season with a 34-7 win over Georgetown

Despite a rough first half, only scoring one try and sustaining a few key injuries, JMU came out on top in Friday night’s game. There was an outstanding second half performance by JMU as they scored five more tries to Georgetown’s one. The forward pack had a good game, dominating both the line outs and the scrums. JV also had a strong performance finishing their season, for the second year in a row, undefeated.

The varsity win secured JMU’s spot as the #2 seed in the conference. Which means JMU will be taking on Virginia Tech at home, 1 o’clock this Saturday, 11/11. The victors of this game will go on to the national tournament next weekend. Where the top 16 teams in the nation will be competing against one another. Please keep an eye out for updates!
