JMU Looses 48-7 against Mary Washington

October 30, 2017
This weekend had mixed feelings – First of all congratulations to the JV team who became CHAMPIONS for the Futures Cup  for the second year in a row. That is a great achievement and beating UMW in the manner we did yesterday was very positive . The JV team has been unbeaten now for 15 games over the past two years in League play and so this Friday will be a big game in order to insure we finish the season undefeated. Madison Side unfortunately did not have a game, as Long Wood backed out last second.
The Varsity game has to be classified as disappointing . We started out very strongly and then due to our own mistakes frustratingly gave the momentum over to the other team. At one point it looked as if we would make a comeback but continue to make mental errors and mistakes that lead to the game getting away from us. Despite a big loss against Mary Wash, JMU remains second in the Conference. With one more game left in the regular season, there is hope we will stay in this position.
Our last game is this Friday at home against George Town. *Note this is a change from the original schedule* The game has been moved to home due to a conflict of space up in George town. We invite all family and friends to come for our last  regular season game. More details will be posted in the days to come!
